Award winning law firm, Jacksons has announced that it has been appointed to the panel of legal advisors to the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA).
Jacksons, which has its head office in the Tees Valley, was invited by TVCA, in March this year, to tender for the provision of a wide range of legal services including corporate and commercial, commercial property, employment, health & safety and regulatory, dispute resolution, banking and funding and debt recovery. The firm was delighted when it received the good news that its bid had been successful.
Following the creation of Tees Valley Combined Authority in April 2016, the Authority, along with its elected mayor Ben Houchen, has been working with the local business community to develop and support growth ambitions for the region including; education attainment, producing a skilled workforce for the needs of local businesses, job creation and to introduce new processes and practices for research and development, innovation and energy. There are already many projects in the pipeline to support these aims and ambitions.
